Introducing....

Starting soon, Main Streets and Back Roads will be spending a day in each of New Hampshire's 13 incorporated cities. We'll look at history, attractions, restaurants, natural features, and of course transportation. It's fun to research things to do, but even more fun to take others' recommendations. Ideas? Leave a comment!

This makes me very happy! In Lebanon: eat at the Salt Hill Pub if it is still there. If not, the big italian resaurant in town is great, too, forget the name, something w/ the word tomato in it.

Three Tomatoes is the Italian restaurant in Lebanon, and YES, you should definitely eat at Salt Hill. Also, if you're up for a hike, I recommend climbing Storrs Hill. Beautiful views from up there!

Thank you both! Now, if only I had a similar reconaissance crew for Franklin and Berlin...

My dad recommended the Three Tomatoes in Burlington to me a while back but we went elsewhere at the last minute. Looks like it will come in second again.
